SMGH FOUNDATION RAISES $2,193.25 AT CUDDY GARDEN LUNCH & BAKE SALE

The Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH) Foundation took part in the A.M. (Mac) Cuddy Gardens Show this past weekend by hosting a fundraising lunch and bake sale. 

Thanks to the hard work of fundraiser organizer, Rita Van Geffen, and several volunteers, the lunch and bake sale raised $2,193.25.   

“The funds raised will support breast cancer programs at SMGH,” said Rita Van Geffen, SMGH Foundation Committee Member.  “This Program will help women in the Strathroy and surrounding area receive complete breast cancer screening, diagnosis and surgical services right here at our local hospital.”

The SMGH Foundation and organizing committee would like to thank all those who donated baked goods; Michael Pascoe and Fanshawe College Horticulture students; as well as sponsors Giant Tiger, Ralph Bos Meats, Real Canadian Superstore and Ricco Foods.

The SMGH Foundation plans to once again partner with the A.M. (Mac) Cuddy Gardens Show in 2016.
